In this last week of September, we are thankful for such a positive start to the school year. As a school, safety is our number one priority; then learning and fun too! We appreciate everyone who is making a concerted effort to stay off your cell phone while driving on our campus. We are in process of getting permanent signage made to help remind drivers. Please also be aware that our parent parking lot aisles are one way only. They are painted with big white arrows, but we are also getting signs made to help remind drivers.
PEP (Parents Encouraging Parents) is a support organization aimed at providing resources for families and professionals who have or work with children with disabilities. CDE is sponsoring a few different conferences throughout the year, focused on providing support, collaboration, and partnership between school and home relationships, centered around children with disabilities. The best part- these are free of charge!
We have a unique opportunity at our school. We are in the process of creating a classified substitute pool to serve as PAID coverage any time an instructional para takes a day off. The jobs are 6.5 hours a day. We will train you! We are looking for men and women who would love working with young children in a fast paced work environment.
One of the reasons our school is so awesome is because of the "behind the scenes" work that our parents do on our family engagement committees. I would love to have YOU join! Please be sure to RSVP as these are yearlong commitments. THANK YOU!

If your child qualifies for Free and Reduced lunch, parents can apply for a fee waiver. Families who meet federal income guidelines can apply for meal discounts through the Child Nutrition office. If a student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, parents waive certain school and activity fees by completing the Permission to Share form through PSD’s online parent portal ParentVue.
