About Me
Why do you love being a teacher?:
I love being a teacher because you get to connect and build relationships with children as you help them learn and grow as students and individuals.
What do you like to do outside of school?:

Outside of school I like to hang out with my family; camping, fishing, and going on road trips.  I also really like to build things, from Legos to cabinets. I just enjoy working with my hands to create.

What is a favorite quote of yours?:

Lord, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith;  Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console, To be understood, as to understand, To be loved, as to love.  For it is giving that we receive, It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned,  It is in dying to self that we are born into eternal life.             - St. Francis of Assisi

I never teach my pupils; I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.   - Albert Einstein

My Classroom
Courses Taught:

I teach all subjects; Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies.

About My Classroom:

I would like my classroom to be a place where students feel safe to learn and grow.  My goal is to create an environment where every child is supported with what they need to be successful.  Students will be challenged through their learning to become critical thinkers who can analyze and solve real world problems.  Our classroom will also care about others and demonstrate respect through our actions and words.  We will be held accountable for our actions both positive and negative.
