Zach Elementary is a neighborhood school. Due to being at capacity in enrollment, in order to attend Zach Elementary, a student must live within the school boundary (a.k.a. the Zach attendance area). If a student moves out of the Zach attendance area during any school year, they can remain enrolled in Zach until the end of that school year. If a student moves out of the Zach attendance area and wants to remain at Zach for the duration of their elementary career, their school choice application for the incoming school year will be reviewed on a case by case basis, taking class size, grade level size, and whole school capacity into account, while following the PSD School Choice Priority List. We encourage families that attend Zach to continue to live within the Zach attendance area in order to guarantee their child's enrollment at our school. Steps to Enroll - New to the Neighborhood
Documents to bring:
- Copy of Proof of Immunizations
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency (a copy of a lease agreement, mortgage statement, utility bill, etc)
- Student Enrollment Form
- Home Language and Student Residency
- Student Information and Class Placement
- Parent Intake Form
Please know every child is assessed in literacy and number sense in order to provide appropriate placement. Every child is welcome here, and it is not an entrance exam. We simply want to ensure that your child is placed in the best academic environment to meet your child's individual needs. Our goal is to ensure high levels of learning for all students!
